The red carpet is rolled out to greet our 15 stars, before the nail-biting moment when they discover who their professional dance partner will be. They then all take to the dance floor to perform together for the very first time. Will it be ballroom bliss, or murder on the dance floor? There is no public vote this week, but the couples still have to impress the Strictly judges, whose scores will be carried through to next week. The pressure is on, as no-one wants to be the first to leave the competition.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return to host an unforgettable evening of Strictly drama, in the first results show of the series. The judges' scores and public votes are in and the two couples with the lowest score dance off against each other, with one of them chasseing out of the competition for good. Plus, the professional dancers treat us to a spectacular a routine, and Matt Goss from Bros performs his version of the hit single, When Will I Be Famous.
